横浜のネリス女学院に通う女子高生・森田ゆかりは、この夏休みに秘密の計画を立てていた。新婚旅行中に南の島で行方不明になった父・寛を探しに、ひとりでソロモン諸島に行こうと言うのだ。一方、アクシオ島にあるソロモン宇宙協会(SSA)では、新型ロケットLS7の打ち上げがまたもや失敗。本年度中に有人ロケットの打ち上げに成功しなければ、予算打ち切りというピンチにおちいっていた。脱走宇宙飛行士・安川とSSAのヘリとのカーチェイスに巻き込まれたゆかりは、SSA所長の那須田勲と出会う。そのときゆかりを見つめる那須田の目にあやしい光が…。厚さ2ミリ!スキンタイト宇宙服に身を包み、小柄な美少女達が贈る本格宇宙開発ストーリー!
