In the face of new style policing, internal affairs investigations and corruption commissions, Detectives Red Lilywhite (Michael Caton) and Lou Knutt (Daniel Wyllie) are the fat blue line of the modern police force. Completely disinterested in actually solving crimes, these two detectives are far more concerned about keeping a piece of the action for themselves, than keeping the peace on the streets. Talkback radio king Howard Mays (Garry McDonald) has gone on a verbal rampage against the police force, accusing them of dirty dealings and corruption.
